Think Tanks

Personally, I am a fan of tanks. They’re cooling, easy to wear and you can just throw one on in a jiff! I love tanks mostly because I am a very lazy dresser, my everyday look is basically a pair of shorts, either a tank or a tee, ballet flats or slippers and my bag (which is usually rather large cos I like to toss a lot of things inside).

When one is as lazy as me, one needs to find several different kinds of tanks to wear everyday just so people won’t ask you, ‘didn’t you wear that yesterday?’. No, I did not! In fact, it is the 100th white tank top that I own in my closet. Because of that, I do need quite a number of different tanks to wear everyday, plus I get bored with tanks easy and just like to shop for more! :) Of course, it absolutely does not help at all when Cynthia from Tanks for 5 has so many awesome tanks just for RM5! It is due to this affordable tank obsession that my drawers are now full of a variety of tanks! Which I do love! So here are a few of my favourite tanks!
Short tanks are at RM5 and long ones at RM7. If that isn’t a steal, honestly I don’t know what is!

Basics are a must have!

Light pink, bright pink, royal blue, brown, yellow, orange.
I am now totally seeing myself layering the yellow tank over the blue tank to make a bright pop of colour! Or even the bright pink with the brown to give it that brown & pink look which I love so much! Like pink and brown eyemakeup, I can’t say why but I really like that colour combo!
Well, white, black and grey tanks are definitely a must as well, but I’m sure we all already know that! :)

Horizontal stripes won’t make you fat!

Chunky pink, blue galore, candy stripes, playtime stripes, grey+pink (I own & love!), slim pink, purple+green, sunset.
I know a lot of people don’t like horizontal stripes because they are afraid that it’ll make them look wider than they really are. Personally, I do not subscribe to that school of thought, mainly because I am a mad fan of stripes and do not care what other people say about stripes! Horizontals look way better than vertical any day! Excuse the mini stripe rant. :)
Sunset is so pretty! And chunky pink reminds me of candy!

Flowers aren’t just for your garden.

Tiny peony, bright paisley (LOVE! MUST BUY NOW!), faded purple, blue bouquet, purple vines.
I love florals. Really I do. I think they are so pretty and girly, and I LOVE them! If you’re having a particularly blue day, nothing perks you up like a bright splash of colour and really pretty flowers. My favourite of the lot is the bright paisley one. OMG! It’s so pretty! I need to get it now now now! And so should you!

Not for crossing.

Blue zebra, pink zebra.
Let me be totally honest with you, I personally am not a fan of animal prints, so it is incredibly rare for me to like animal prints. But I will say this to you, I think these prints are so pretty!!! I love the blue and white combo, the pink and white combo! I love how they are zebra prints but aren’t exactly like zebra prints. They could look like really wavy stripes okay! The one on the left is sheer, so would be totally awesome to wear a bright coloured tank inside if you’re adventurous or a white/black one if you’re playing it safe for the day.

Everything else.

Butterflies+stars (Own & love!), blue hearts, pink hearts, cuddlies, fluoropink, muted leaves, peace out.
Assorted printed tanks that just don’t fit in anywhere else! I am loving the cuddlies one, the animals are too cute! And come on, who doesn’t love a bright paint splatter fluorescent pink+white tank (will look awesome stencilled, must buy to get Pop to stencil for me!). Another thing I am a sucker for is, pink+green as well as the hippy peace sign. I can’t explain it, it's just who I am.

Fancy up that white tank top – Here she is only showing it in a white tank top, but personally you can do it with basically any design/colour. I love the shorts & legging combo, too bad going to the toilet with leggings is always such a drag!
I think I might just give the skinny jeans + heels combo a shot! Once I get my skinny jeans! Anyone knows where to get a good pair of skinnies? Please let me know! Desperately seeking!
