Perfectly Plaid

Remember the Plaid Craze we just went through? And to my friends remember the plaid craze I was in 2 years prior to Current-Plaid-Craze and because I wasn't some hot-shot designer I was pointed and laughed at and called a deluded lesbian?
Well guess what, plaid didn't just belong to the lesbians. It belonged to myself...and Kurt Cobain as well. For wearing the hick-plaid loud and proud in his dirty, greasy, grungy style Kurt got us trend-setted.

KURT COBAIN - TRENDSETTER
and Original Plaidster.

I don't know what it is about table-cloth checks that turns us on. The Scotts started it you know, with their kilts. So think of this fasntastic image the next time you see those
gorgeous plaid boots you just have to get.

But yes moving on from the Scotts, I love plaid, I think it's a bit over-used now, but still...there's something about the geometry in it's sexy symmetrical box that just makes me go 'Oooh.'

Plaid is plainly perfect for that punk, rockery, grungy fella but what surprised me when designers started using it this time around is how classic it could look!

And whyever not, look at this er, dignified man on my right. If that doesn't say class I don't know what does.

Burberry does plaid the best {heart}, but plaid really has been overdone. So if you're thinking about bringing it back into your closet despite its last-seasoness, get creative with the lines, colours and cut!I think I just might, something tells me my days of plaid are not quite over yet.

Really the more and more plaid I see, the more and more I want more and more.
