Alex Wek

When I first saw a photograph of Alek Wek the first thing that crossed my mind was "Who is that long, black, girl?" The second thing was, "My god she's beautiful."

Alek Wek can take a photo man. That dark skin, aiseh! So glossy, and long, and panther-like! 

Alek was originally from Sudan but had to flee to Britain because of the civil war, how about that! Around 1995 she hit it big after appearing in a music video for Tina Turner. She also appeared in Janet Jackson's video clip "Got Till It's Gone". And she was signed to Ford Models. Of course. Where else do the supermodels go?

From Refugee to Supermodel. Maybe Penang and Kelantan should fight too, then if I go for knee implants, plastic surgery and stop eating forever, I may have a shot!
