Summer Maxis

With summer just around the corner in the northern hemisphere, insanely short shorts are in at the moment, think hot pantaloons (click here to read more about shorts.)! As well as floor length maxi dresses! Here are a few different looks for the maxi dress this season! :)

With innerwear being totally the rage now, a transition from simple innerwear to nude shades is absolutely and completely logical!

Plus, it’s so easy for everyone to look great in nudes! Because, I will admit, not many people would actually be willing to wear bra tops out here in Malaysia regardless how hot and humid the weather is, so nude shades would be absolutely perfect for us, as the colour is light enough for it to be cooling, and because it is a lovely flesh-tone, it is absolutely sexy as well!

Cos la, you’re like you’re wearing nothing when you’re really wearing something! :)
Okay, nude is actually such a broad topic, am wondering should I just create a new post on it?

The thing about maxi dresses is that, they are so easy to wear and there is definitely no easier to look amazing than with a beautiful knock out maxi!

And to stand out even more in a maxi, wear one with a plunging neckline. :)

Tell them your chest needs airing! The weather very warm la! :) I joke. If you find the plunging necklines too revealing there’s always the option of a tube inside or just structured blazer for the arms. Would seriously suggest a trench coat, but weather does not permit. :(

Don’t you think that the elbow length sleeves along with the long flowy length make the dress a little less revealing. :)

As we all know, fashion recycles itself. So though it may not be exactly alike, they are definitely inspired from the past and remodelled with a modern twist!

And of course, we must have a maxi in brights!

Standing out has never been easier in a maxi dress, let alone one in a bright popping colour!

The best part about bright colours is that it’ll instantly brighten up your complexion and when you walk in the room, just imagine all heads turning to you. Btw, am totally LOVING yellow!

Brights are definitely a crowd pleaser and oh so easy to wear as well, as the colour already stands out by itself, it isn’t necessary to layer on the accessories!
