If you remember our previous post, we mentioned that we got invites to a Fashion Show. This is it! :)
This is our very first fashion show and we were SUPER excited. Got all made up (read: heaps of vain photos of us) and we headed to the event location. Which was at Chin Woo Stadium. When we heard of the place, we were a little skeptical and when we saw the place our skepticism increased!
This is the place? Really?
Hmm, red drapes and looking decent. Can’t be that bad right?
Introducing the Scarlet Theatre! The theme for the decorations this time around was channelling Burlesque. So it was all very Parisian. Tres chic.
Ticket sponsor aka Datin Cynthia and I both in Meesha Sukira.
Camwhoring at the tourist red photo booth! Pop is wearing Ballerina in Me, Tutu Almost in White!
As we were busy camwhoring at the reception area, we bumped into…
None other than Sue Lynn aka Bangsar Babe wearing our Mermaid Ruffles dress in Feisty Red!
Posing right outside the runway hall. Check out the sparkles behind my head! :O
More camwhore moments with Bangsar Babe. :)
My GFF’s (Gay Friend Forever) uber cool red mohawk!
Not to be outshone, check out this guy’s uber elaborate head piece. I call it a head piece because I am not sure if it can even be called a hat! As if he needed the extra height! Boy, am I glad he wasn’t sitting in front of us!
Lady with white hair is none other than Gillian Hung, president of MODA!
Photographers and video people of the event! They’ve got the best spot as usual, right smack in front of the runway.
Nervously awaiting the start of the show. I don’t know why I am like this, I really don’t.
Tadah! And the show begins!
Opening the show is statuesque Amber Chia in Alvin Tay.
And at the end of her walk, she does this absolutely gorgeous pose…
Man, this woman can rock a runway!
Next up, seriously gorgeous gowns by Dominique Chan!
This whole collection was so well made! Everything was perfect! From the outfits, to the accessories, to the make up, to the music and even the way the models were modelling the clothes! Love it!
Colourful and bright Meesha Sukira!
Sadly, not too many photos of this colourful collection as the models were walking a tad too fast and we were seated in the 3rd row because we stupidly assumed the first 2 rows were for media. Which it wasn’t, as a whole bunch of random people just promptly plopped their asses in front of us and thusly blocked our view. Hence, the many heads in these photos. Sad isn’t it.
A few other random designers, which I sadly forgot the name to as I lazily forgot to note them down. :(
This guy has gotta be one of our favourite male models. Though he has a funny walk, but the moment he stops, looks down and suddenly looks up again. WOW! The intensity in the eyes and his entire pose. Cannot keep eyes off him!
And to end, here’s the very last photo of Dominique Chan’s Collection.
It’s GORGEOUS! Even more gorgeous in real life!
And so I have finally completed my very belated post. Enjoy the photos! :)
Till next time!
xoxo
