Domestic Week

About a week or two back, I had a rather large amount of free time on my hand so instead of just spending it playing Diablo 3 all day, I decided to do something a little useful!

1. Sewed the pencil box I promised my sister.

As I am completely useless with the sewing machine, I had to HANDSEW these! Well, technically the sewing machine runs, it just doesn’t wanna sew. Go figure.

I sewed one more pencil box in a peach cow printed design, but didn’t get a chance to take a photo of it.

2. Also did some baking.

Was supposed to be a Nutella Brownie Cup.

Well, since I got greedy & decided to double up the recipe I didn’t really think about the amount of baking soda I was putting in. While the taste was pretty decent, the baking soda left a strange texture & aftertaste to the brownie.
Lesson learnt! Don’t double up the baking soda!

Because of the super domestic week I had, I naturally had to go reward myself with a little shopping at Sephora!

Dry Shampoo, smokey eye brush, gentle exfoliator cleansing cream & smart dual action exfoliator.

Did a little jewellery shopping.

Got myself a moustache ring!
Only to have it…

Break. :(
So I decided to…

Give myself a real moustache!

Made myself feel better about broken ring by…

Visiting Sector 7, Setia Walk for a glass or two of…

Kronenbourg Blanc!

When that wasn’t enough…

Walked across to Brussels to try out the new Hoegaarden Rosee.
Which by the way, was a tad too sweet for my liking. Though I must say, I do like how it had a nice sparkling wine texture to it.

So that’s pretty much it for my week. I hope this one will be a better one! :)
