Steve Meisel

Aesthetics. Just the other day I was saying that everything in life should be designed to be aesthetically pleasing to your eye and to your spirit. Whatever you see, do, touch, feel, it should be with a sense of wonder, passion, excitement, it's the only way to live a life that is beautiful.
We are innately designed to look for it, and no matter where you come from, there are types of beauty that transcend the zeitgeist of Marilyn-Monroe-curvy or Audrey-Hepburn-skinny or even Kate-Moss-drug-induced. Things like a sunset, a beautiful flower, a clear blue sky. Those are the meeting points of beauty wherever you come from and no matter what your culture of beauty is, we all find wonder in those things.
That's probably why I love looking at photographs, it captures all the split second beauty that your eyes cannot absorb all at once. Freezes it. And then lets you come back again and again just to drink the beauty of life.
So, I'm going to share with you some amazing photos by fantastic fashion photographers who not only freeze beauty to be enjoyed forever, but create and add to that beauty, to make you think, feel and breathe everytime you look!
