Red Carpet Romance

Fashion Police is over on E!

Sad times. Joan Rivers is ridiculously funny, e.g. "Meryl Streep looked like the first lady of Russia in that dress."

*Fashion Police's Best Dressed Nominee

L-O-V-E Joan Rivers. What I loved more however was the dress J.Lo wore to the Oscars. Wow. That was a dress. The lines, the structure, the cut, the fit; Perfect! But...Sandra Bullock won best dressed this year, simply because...well it was her year. Who can hold a grudge against Sandra Bullock though? And her dress was beautiful.

Sadly Charlize went a little bit wrong, and she got Worst Dress-ted. But hey, everyone gets it wrong sometimes, no need to be harsh. But, maybe a tip to rember is to NOT wear big 'flowers' on your lady-lump-lumps?

This reminds me of the other time Charlize had an alter-ego in the form of a dress. I don't remember who said this -possibly Joan-, "She looked like she had grown another head." HOWEVER, some people thought the dress was very high-fashion-forward. And I kind of agree. Although the bow is a little disturbing.

Fashion is always going to have hits and misses, you can't help it if you're going to push the boundaries of its art. So keep on keeping on all those on the Worsted lists. Stay true, stay you. Word up.

Here are some other memorable Oscar night moments!

Renee Zellweger in her Canary Yellow stunner.

Halle Berry looking Mocha-Berried and gorgeous in this risky number -Charlize this is how the goods go on display-.

Penelope Cruz, beautiful! Doesn't this dress remind you of that Wedding Dress that appeared on the Sex in the City movie?

And here are other dresses from random red carpets.

Moment of silence for the chickens that had to die. Hey, I LIKE this dress!

Just because this lady has the curves to contribute to a dress. ;).

Of course, only Angelina Jolie would be able to pull off a leather gown on the red carpet.

Sigh, why don't we have Oscars to go to!! And designers to clothe us! Signing off, heartbroken Pop.

XOXO POP
